Physical Therapist

Physical therapists are healthcare professionals who specialize in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses that affect their mobility and physical function. Their role involves assessing patients' movement, strength, and flexibility, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing various therapeutic techniques to improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore function. Physical therapists use a combination of exercises, manual therapy, modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and patient education to help individuals regain independence in daily activities and prevent future injuries. They work closely with patients to set goals, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed, aiming to optimize their overall health and quality of life. Additionally, physical therapists may specialize in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, or sports medicine, tailoring their expertise to meet the unique needs of each patient population.
